PORK STEW FOR THE SOUP KITCHEN ENJOY DAN:

                PORK STEW FOR THE SOUP KITCHEN by CHEF DAN:
Serves 30-40

INGREDIENTS:
7 pounds pork sirloin steak
1 tablespoon EACH paprika, dried oregano, garam masala, turmeric
2 teaspoon EACH salt, black pepper chili powder and lemon pepper
4 bay leaves
22 cups beef broth
1/3-cup soy sauce
4 cans tomato soup
1 cup flour
11 potatoes, cubed
2 heads cabbage, thinly sliced
4 carrots, diced
4 onions, diced
7 stalks celery, diced

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Place steaks and next 11 ingredients in a stock pot.
2.   Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
3.   Remove the steaks and let cool; set aside.
4.   Whisk 1 cup cooking liquid with the flour; set aside.
5.   When the steaks are cool, discard the fat and cut into bit-size pieces.
6.   Add potatoes, cabbage carrot, celery, tomato soup and cooked pork.
7.   Bring mixture to a boil, stir in flour mixture.
8.   Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
9.   Remove the bay leaves.
