GRAND NIECE GRACE FRENCH TOAST STICKS ENJOY DAN:

GRAND NIECE GRACE (SHE KNOWS) FRENCH TOAST STICKS by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4-6

INGREDIENTS:
4 eggs
3/4-cup milk
1/4-cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2-teaspoon EACH cinnamon & nutmeg
8 slices white bread, each cut into 4 sticks
5 tablespoons butter

INGREDIENTS:
  1. In a shallow dish, beat eggs, and next 6 ingredients and blend well.
  2. Dip white bread into egg mixture, coating completely.
  3. In a skillet over medium-heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter and when sizzling.
  4. Cook sticks a few at a time for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Remove from skillet and set on a plate.
  6. Adding more butte and more sticks continue until all stick are cooked
  7. Adding more butter as needed.
  8. Serve with more syrup if needed, or jam.
