LAMB VEGETABLES STEW ENJOY DAN:


                        LAMB VEGETABLE STEW by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed
1 teaspoon EACH Italian seasoning and turmeric
1/2-teaspoons EACH garlic powder and ginger powder
1-pound lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup red wine
2 springs fresh rosemary
2 bay leaves

DIRECTIONS: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 F)
1.   Heat oil in an oven proof pot over medium-high heat when sizzling.
2.   Add the meat and brown on all sides.
3.   Through in the reamaning ingredients.
4.   Place in oven; cover and bake for 1-1/2-to 2 hours.
5.   Remove bay leaves and rosemary springs.
6.   Divide among bowls.
