TEQUILA CHILI FOR THE TREE FARM WORKERS ENJOY DAN:

         TEQUILA CHILI FOR THE TREE FARM WORKERS by CHEF DAN:
Serves 12-14

INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoon olive oil
4 onions, chopped
4 bell peppers, chopped
6 garlic cloves, smashed
4 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoon EACH cumin, smoked paprika cayenne pepper and turmeric
3 tablespoons EACH chili powder, chipotle powder, and jalapeno powder
2 (28 Oz) cans crushed tomatoes
3 (8 Oz) cans tomato sauce
2 (15 Oz) cans chili beans in sauce
1-1/2-cvups tequila

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a stockpot, heat over medium-heat and when sizzling.
2.   Add onion and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3.   Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
4.   Add ground beef and sauté for about 10 minutes.
5.   Add cumin and next 6 ingredients.
6.   Cook for 2 minutes more
7.   Add all tomato products, beans, and tequila; mix well.
8.   Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
9.   Serve with tortilla chips.
