INSTANT
POT PASTA AND CHICKEN by CHEF DAN:
Serves
4
INGREDIENTS:
1-pound
skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2-tablespoon
butter
1-teaspoon
EACH smoked paprika & turmeric
1/2-teaspoon
mustard powder
sea
salt & freshly ground black pepper
3-cups
penne pasta
1-1/2-cups
chicken broth
1/4-cup
cream
1/4-cup
grated Parmesan cheese
4-cups
broccoli florets, chopped into small; pieces
1/2-cup
Cheddar cheese, grated
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Set
the Instant Pot to SAUTE until it reads hot.
2.
Meanwhile,
cut the chicken into 1/2-inch pieces.
3.
When
Instant Pot reads hot.
4.
Add
the butter & when melted.
5.
Stir
in paprika, turmeric & mustard powder, toast for 30 seconds.
6.
Add
thee chicken pieces, & sprinkle with salt & pepper, stir to coat.
7.
Turn
off pot.
8.
Add
the pasta, chicken broth & 1 cup hot water to the Instant Pot.
9.
Put
on lid & close pressure release value.

Set
PRESSURE COOK button & set for 3 minutes.

Release
the pressure & turn off the Pot & remove the lid.

Hit
Saute button & bring liquid to a boil, stirring well.

Add
cream, & Parmesan & cook stirring r until liquid become slightly thick 2-3
minutes.

Turn
off the pot & add the broccoli, cheddar cheese & stir until cheese
melts 2-3 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.
