COFFEE INFUSED TURKEY CHILE ENJOY DAN:

             COFFEE INFUSED TURKEY CHILE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 12

INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds lean ground turkey
3 tablespoon olive oil
2 onions, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
2 bell peppers, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
1(15 Oz) can black olives
2 (15 Oz) can crushed tomatoes
2 (15 Oz) can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 (15.5 Oz) 1 can each black beans, cannellini beans, pinto beans, chick pea
1(7 Oz) can diced green chilies
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1/3-cup brewed coffee
2 cups vegetable stock
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon EACH Hungarian oregano, and sea salt
Toppings shredded cheese, sour cream, scallion, and cilantro
DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a stock-pot add oil over medium-high heat when sizzling.
2.   Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon cook until browned, about 4 -5 minutes.
3.   Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes; add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
4.   Add bell pepper, jalapeno pepper and sauté for 2 minutes.
5.   Pour in tomatoes (including liquid), olives, beans, and green chilies.
6.   Add cocoa powder, coffee, espresso powder, and stock, stir well.
7.   Season with chili powder, cumin, oregano and salt.
8.   Reduce heat and simmer 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
9.   Create a chili bar, by placing toppings in individual condiment bowls.
10.                Ladle chili into bowl and let everybody add the own topping.
11.                Toppings shredded cheese, sour cream, scallions, and cilantro.
