QUINOA AND OATMEAL CEREAL by CHEF

INGREDIENTS:
1/2-cup
well rinsed quinoa
1/2-cup
steel-cut oats
1
apple, cored and coarse chopped
1/3-cup
raisins
1
teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon
kosher salt
Handful
walnuts, chopped
2
cups water
TOPPINGS:
Honey
Bananas
Fresh
berries
DIRECTIONS:
1.
In
a pot bring water to a boil and add all the ingredients except the toppings.
2.
Reduce
heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until grains are soft.
3.
Stir
and serve with honey, banana, berries and milk.
