GROUND SIRLOIN PATTIES WITH VEGETABLES ENJOY DAN:


         GROUND SIRLOIN PATTIES WITH VEGTABLES by CHEF DAN:
Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:
2 frozen sirloin patties, (85% lean)
2 tablespoon butter
1 shallot, minced
1 bunch asparagus spears, ends trimmed, bias cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1-(10 Oz) bag edamame (shelled soybeans) or peas
4 cups water
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoons honey

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Heat 4 cups water to a salted water to a boil, add edamame, boil 3-5 minutes.
2.   Drain and set aside.
3.   Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-heat and when sizzling.
4.   Add sirloin patties and cook for 11-12 minutes, flipping once.
5.   Add shallots and sauté for about 4 minutes.
6.   Add asparagus, salt, and pepper, stirring occasionally for 5 more minutes.
7.   Add edamame and honey and sauté 1 minute more
