ASPARAGUS WRAPPED IN PROSCIUTTO by CHEF DAN:
serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS:
I pound asparagus, (about 14 spears)
1/2- pound prosciutto, sliced thin about 14 pieces from the smaller end
1 tablespoon olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
1.Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees.
2.Cut off the bottom section of the spears.
3.Peel the spears with vegetable peeler.
4.Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each spear spiraling upward.
5.line a baking sheet with foil and spread a little olive oil on it.
6.Arranged the wrapped spears in the pan and place in the oven.
7.After 5 minutes, turn spears.
8.Roast another 5 minutes and turn spears again.
9.Roast another 5 minutes and asparagus should be very tender.
10.Serve and enjoy.
