SHRIMP HAVARTI CHEESE AND WATERMELON SALAD ENJOY DAN:

     SHRIMP HAVARTI CHEESE AND WATERMELON SALAD by CHEF DAN:
Makes 6- 3” rings X-2-inches

INGREDIENTS:
1.   12 shrimp, peeled and deveined
2.   1 teaspoon EACH garlic powder, onion powder, and ginger powder
3.   1/2-teaspoon EACH smoked paprika, turmeric and salt
4.   1/4-teaspoon green chipotle chili powder
5.   6-1-inch thick round, seedless watermelon
6.   12-thin slices of Havarti cheese
7.   2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
8.   4 springs fresh basil

DIRECTIONS: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 450 F)
1.   Season shrimp with garlic powder and next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
2.   Toss to combine; then set in a prepared baking dish.
3.   Bake shrimp in preheated oven for about 8 minutes.
4.   Using a 2-inch ring mold and cut watermelon into 2” circle shapes.
5.   Slice in the middle of each round watermelon making 12 slices.
6.   Place watermelon on 2 plates.
7.   Top with 1 slice of watermelon, 1 slice of cheese, and 1 shrimp.
8.   Repeat with remaining watermelon, cheese, and shrimp.
9.   Drizzle balsamic vinegar over each stack and garnish with basil.
