PALEO APPLE CRUMBLE ENJOY DAN:

                            PALEO APPLE CRUMBLE by CHEF DAN:
Makes 4 ramekins

FILLING:
3 apples, peeled and cored, finely chopped
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2-teaspoon allspice
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/8-teaspoon EACH nutmeg and cloves
1 tablespoon lemon juice

TOPPING:
1/2-cup almond flour
1/2-cup pecans
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 F)
1.   Butter 4 ramekins, and set aside
2.   Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl.
3.   Transfer to ramekins and fill.
4.   Mix all topping ingredients (except slivered almonds reserved for garnish) mix until coarse crumble form.
5.   Sprinkle this mixture over apples in the ramekins.
6.   Garnish with almonds.
7.   Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the crumble turns golden brown.
