CHICKEN TENDERS BAKED IN THE OVEN ENJOY DAN:


HONEY MUSTARD SESAME CHICKEN TENDERS by CHEF DAN:
SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS:

1/4-cup Dijon mustard
1/4-cup DAN’S honey
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
1 teaspoon EACH garlic and onion powder
2 teaspoons smoky paprika
1 tablespoon FRANK’S hot sauce with lime
1 egg
1 pound chicken tenders
1/4-cup slivered almonds
1/8-cup sesame seeds
1/2-cup Panko

HONEY MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE:       (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)

1.   In a bowl mix Dijon, honey, chives, hot sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
2.   Reserve some of the sauce for the tables.
3.   Add egg, and mix well.

CRUMB MIXTURE:
1.   In a blender, place slivered almonds, sesame seeds and Panko.
2.   Blend until smooth.
3.   Place on a plate.

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Coat the chicken tender with the mustard- egg sauce.
2.   Roll in the crumb mixture.
3.   Place on a baking sheet and drizzle a little oil.
4.   In a pre-heated oven bake for 15 minutes, or until crispy.
5.   Serve with reserved dipping sauce.
