THIS WAS WONERFUL ENJOY DAN:

                    SAUTEED MUSHROOMS WITH THYME by CHEF DAN:

Serves 4



INGREDIENTS:



1 tablespoon olive oil

1-1/2- pounds baby portabellas mushrooms, quarter

1 tablespoon butter

1/2- onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, minced

1/4-cup Marsala

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste



DIRECTIONS:



1.    Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat, until simmering.

2.    Add mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.

3.    Increase heat to high and cook, stirring occasionally until liquid has evaporated, about 6-8 minutes.

4.    Add butter, reduce heat to medium, and cook stirring until mushrooms are dark brown, about 6-8 minutes.

5.    Add onion and thyme and until softened about 3-4 minutes.

6.    Add Marsala cook until liquid has evaporated, about 2 minutes.

7.    Season with salt and pepper.
