OH YAH OOOOOOOOOOOOSO YOUMMMMMMMY ENJOY DAN:

                     DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES by CHEF DAN:

                     MADE WITH MY FUTURE GRAND DAUGHTER ALEX

Makes 30 truffles



INGREDIENTS:



1-13/4- cup semisweet chocolate, chopped in small chunks

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup heavy cream

6 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces

1/3-cup unsweetened cocoa

1 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons instant espresso coffee

Finely ground nuts, almonds and walnuts



DIRECTIONS:



1.    Combine cream, butter, chopped chocolate, chocolate chips and espresso in a sauce pan over medium-heat.

2.    Stirring constantly.

3.    Cook until chocolate has melted and smooth.

4.    Remove from heat.

5.    Pour into a bowl.

6.     Chill and refrigerate for 1 hour.

7.    Line a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

8.    Using a melon baller, scoop 2 teaspoon sized balls.

9.    Smooth them out by hand and rolling in fine ground nuts.
