HUBBARD SQUASH IS ON THE MENU TODAY ENJOY DAN:

                         BAKED HUBBARD SQUASH by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds squash
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3/4-cup DAN”S honey
1/2-cup butter
1/4-teaspoon EACH ground ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon
1/2-cup toasted pecans
Salt and pepper as desired

DIRECTIONS:                               (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)

1.    Cut squash into quartered, remove seeds and fiber.
2.    Place in a pan with 1/4-inch water.
3.    In a sauce pan over medium-heat add butter, honey, lemon juice, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon.
4.    Stir to combine.
5.    Baste 1/2- the butter mixture on top of the squash.
6.    Bake for 30 minutes.
7.    Baste the squash with the remainder of the butter mixture, and cook for another 30 minutes.
