CAJUN PRAWNS ENJOY DAN:

                                    CAJUN PRAWNS by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
1-pound prawns, shelled and deveined
2 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup Cajun spice blend (recipe to follow)
1/4-white wine

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a zip-Lok bag add Cajun.
2.   Add shrimp and shake to coat.
3.   In a skillet melt butter over medium-heat and when sizzling.
4.   Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
5.   Remove shrimp from marinate and add to the skillet.
6.   Mix with garlic and butter and sauté until shrimp are bright pink and no longer transparent.
7.   About 4 minutes.

CAJUN SPICE MIX:
2 teaspoons EACH salt, garlic powder, and paprika
1 teaspoon Each black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper
1-1/4-teaspoons EACH dried thyme, and dried oregano
1/2-teaspoon red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Stir together all spice ingredients until evenly blended.
2.   Store in an airtight container.
