SHRIMP WITH SESAME SEED GLAZED WALNUTS ENJOY DAN:

SHRIMP WITH SESAME SEED GLAZED WALNUTS by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 egg white, beaten with 1 tablespoons water
1/4-teaspoons sea salt
1/2-cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons grape-seed oil

DRESSING:
1-tablespoon condensed milk
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons mayonnaise

 SESAME SEEDS GLAZED WALNUTS: (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)
4 cups walnuts halves
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoon sesame seeds
A dash of sea salt and cayenne pepper.

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a bowl combine all ingredients.
2.   Mix until walnuts are evenly coated with maple syrup and seasoning.
3.   Spread walnuts on a pre-pared baking sheet.
4.   Bake for 20-25 minutes until nuts are lightly browned,
5.   Allow to cool on baking sheet, nuts will become dry and crunchy as they cool.

DIRECTIONS:    
1.   Mix shrimp with salt and egg whites to evenly coat.
2.   Let marinate for 30 to 40 minutes.
3.   In a bowl, mix the condensed milk, honey, lemon juice, and mayo together.
4.   Place shrimp in a new bowl (leave the excess egg white and liquid behind); dust each shrimp with cornstarch until evenly coated.
5.   In a wok add oil over high-heat add oil when sizzling.
6.   Add shrimp and fry until lightly brown.
7.   Scoop the shrimp out with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels.
8.   Combine the shrimp and 1/2-the dressing in a bowl, toss to coat.
9.   Adding more dressing as needed.
10.                Serve with sesame seed walnuts.
