SHRIMP WITH WHOLE WHEAT PASTA ENJOY DAN:

         SHRIMP WITH WHOLE WHEAT ANGLE HAIR PASTA by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
1/4-cup soy sauce
1/4-cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
1 cucumber, julienned
3 carrots, peeled, julienned
1 cup radishes, julienned
1 roasted red bell pepper, cut into stripes
2 scallions, bias sliced into 1/2-lengths
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (8 Oz) package whole wheat spaghetti
Drained and set aside.
1/2-pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 teaspoon sesame seeds.

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a salad bowl, whisk together soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, oil, garlic, sweet chili sauce, and Chile garlic sauce.
2.   In another bowl toss together, cucumber, carrots, radishes, bell pepper, and scallions remaining vinegar, and salt.
3.   Let stand 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.   Bring pot salted water to a boil.
5.   Add pasta and cook for 9 minutes.
6.   The last 2 minutes of cooking add shrimp.
7.   Drain noodle mixture and rinse in cold water.
8.   Add noodle mixture and vegetables to the bowl with soy sauce.
9.   Top with sesame seeds.
