CHEAP SLOPPY JOE'S FOR MY GRANDSON IN COLLAGE ENJOY DAN:

COLLAGE STUDENTS CHEAP SLOPPY JOES FOR J BOB by CHEF DAN:
Serves 6

INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stacks, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (12 Oz) bottle chili sauce
1/4-cup ketchup
1/4-cup cider vinegar
1/4-cup brown sugar
1-tablespoon yellow mustard
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a skillet add oil over medium-high heat when sizzling.
2.   Add onion, celery and garlic, season with salt and pepper.
3.   Sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.   Add ground beef, to the skillet and cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until no long pink, about 6-8 minutes.
5.   Stir in chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and yellow mustard.
6.   Reduce heat and simmer until thickened for about 6-8 minutes.
7.   Season with salt and pepper.
8.   Spoon onto toasted buns.
