PECAN PIE by CHEF DAN:

INGREDIENTS:
1/2-cup
melted butter
1-cup
brown sugar
1-cup
dark corn syrup
3-eggs
beaten
1teaspoon
EACH white vinegar, & vanilla extract
1-1/3-cup
pecan pieces
1-unbaked
9-inch pie shell
DIRECTIONS:
(PREHEAT OVEN TO 450 F THEN REDUCE HEAT TO 350 F)

Mix
the butter, & next 5 ingredients:

Whisk
until smooth.
3.
Blend
in pecans.
4.
Pour
into pie shell.
5.
Bake
10 minutes at 450 F then reduce heat to 350 F.
6.
Bake
an additional 40-45 minutes.
7.
Cool
on a wire rack.
