TUNA POKE WITH KOHLRABI ENJOY DAN:


                            TUNA POKE WITH KOHLRABI by CHEF DAN:
Serves 6

INGREDIENTS:
1 large kohlrabi grated
2 carrots grated
6 scallions, bias sliced into ½-inch lengths, (both white and green)
2 tablespoon sesame oil
sea salt to taste
1-(18 Oz) Ahi Tuna
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 thumb-size fresh ginger peeled and grated
2 teaspoons EACH soy sauce, and fish sauce
1 tablespoon Harissa paste
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
for garnish black sesame seeds and cilantro

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Peel and grate the kohlrabi and carrots by using a large hole disk with a food processor.
2.   Then combine grated mixture with scallions, and 2 tablespoon oil.
3.   Season with sea salt and toss to coat.
4.   Cut the tuna into 3/4-inch chunks.
5.   Whisk together sesame oil and next 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl.
6.   Toss to coat evenly.
7.   Divide the kohlrabi mixture among serving plates.
8.   Top each portion with equal amounts of tuna.
9.   Garnish with black sesame seeds and cilantro.
