SLOW COOKED BARBECUE BRISKET SLIDERS by

INGREDIENTS:
4
pounds beef brisket
salt
and pepper to taste
2
teaspoon EACH smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder and celery
salt
1-teaspoon
EACH cumin, and cayenne powder
1
cup EACH honey and barbecue sauce
1
cup beef broth
1/2-cup
brown sugar
2
tablespoons corn starch and 2 tablespoons water

slider buns (small hamburger buns)
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Sprinkle
brisket generously with salt and pepper.
2.
Mix
smoked paprika and next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
3.
Dry
rub both sides of the brisket with seasoning mixture.
4.
Stir
together honey and barbecue sauce.
5.
Place
have of honey ingredients on the bottom of the slow cooker.
6.
Place
the brisket in the crock pot, beef broth and browns sugar.
7.
Cook
9-10 hours, then place on cutting and let cool.
8.
Slice
off the fat cap on top of the brisket and discard.

Slice
the brisket against the grain.

Mix
cornstarch and water and pore into the sauce in the crock pot.

Layer
slice meat into the crock pot, pour remaining honey mix. on top

Cook
on low for about 1 more hour; then shred the meat with a fork.

Serve
meat on a soft warm bun slider.

Add
coleslaw or a BRITTTS pickle slice.
