BALSAMIC VINEGAR GLAZE by
CHEF DAN:
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups balsamic vinegar
2 cups balsamic vinegar
2
tablespoon olive oil
1
tablespoon stone ground mustard
1
tablespoon honey
1
garlic clove, minced
1/4-teaspoon
EACH sea salt and freshly ground pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Place
all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer over medium-heat.
2.
Stir
occasionally.
3.
Reduce
heat as needed to keep the vinegar form reaching a boil.
4.
Continue
to simmer until the liquid has reduced to half the original volume.
5.
The
vinegar should thickly coat the back of a metal spoon.
6.
Store
in Mason jar with a tight fitting lid.
7.
Should
keep in the refrigerate for weeks.
