SWEET HOT RED CURRY SHRIMP ENJOY DAN:

                 SWEET HOT RED CURRY SHRIMP by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon red curry paste
1/2- tablespoon olive oil
1/2-cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon EACH red curry powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme
1 (19 Oz) can MAE PLOY coconut milk
1 pound shrimp (16-21 count)
Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a skillet add oil over medium-heat when sizzling.
2.   Add red curry paste and sauté until fragrant about 40 seconds.
3.   Add sugar, curry powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
4.   Pour 1/2-the red curry sauce over the shrimp and marinate for 1 hour.
5.   Preheat the grill to medium-high.
6.   Thread shrimp onto skewers head to tail (lengthwise).
7.   Grill each side for 2-3 minutes or until opaque.
8.   Serve remaining sauce for dipping.
9.   Garnish with fresh cilantro.
