JALAPENO TUNA THAT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER ENJOY DAN:


                        TUNA POMODORO by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2- teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon anchovy’s paste
1 (14.4 Oz) can diced tomatoes
1 6 (Oz) can MERINO’S jalapeno albacore tuna
2 tablespoons thinly slice fresh basil

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Bring pot salted water to a boil and add pasta and cook 8-10 minutes.
2.   Drain and set aside.
3.   In a skillet over medium-high heat; and when oil is sizzling add anchovy’s paste.
4.   With a wooden spoon stir until dissolved.
5.   Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
6.   Add tomatoes, and reduce heat to simmer, stirring occasionally for 6-8 minutes.
7.   Stir in tuna, drained pasta and incorporate in the sauce and cook for 3-4 minutes.
8.   Garnish with fresh basil.
