FRESH MUSHROOM AT THE FARMERS MARKET ENJOY DAN:


       MOREL MUSHROOMS RECIPE FROM JEFF & ERICA BARLOW
Serves 2                                                                       by CHEF DAN
4 ounces fresh morels
1 tablespoon butter
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoon chicken broth
1 tablespoon cream sherry
A splash of cream

MUSHROOM PREPARATION:
1.   Wash and cut fresh morel mushrooms into quarter, sliced long way.
2.    In a bowl soak morels in salted water to remove pesty critters.

DIRECTIONS:
3.   In a fry pan sauté garlic in butter.
4.   Add mushrooms and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
5.   Add broth and wine and cook 2-3 minutes.
6.   Throw in a splash of cream.
7.   Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
