CHICKEN AND MOLASSES NOW THERE IS A COMBINATION ENJOY DAN:

                   CHICKEN BREAST WITH MOLASSES by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:

4 chicken breasts halves, boneless, skinless,  
1 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons DAN’S honey
2 tablespoons TRADER JOE’S spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoons lime juice
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper

DIRECTIONS:

1.    In a sauce pan over medium-heat add mustard, molasses, DAN’S honey, and lime juice.
2.    Stir to combine cook for 30 seconds.
3.    Remove half of mixture and reserve.
4.    In remaining half place chicken and marinade in refrigerato rfor at least 1 hour or overnight.
5.    In a skillet over medium-heat, add oil and when sizzling add chicken and cook turning once, about 10-12 minutes.
6.    Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm.
7.    To skillet add chicken stock and cook until reduced by two-thirds.
8.    Add reserve marinade, and butter, simmering until butter melts.
9.    Pour over chicken.
