HUMMUS MY WAY ENJOY DAN:

                              HUMMUS WITH A BIT by CHEF DAN:
Yield 4 cups

INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 Walla Walla sweet onion, diced small
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1/4-cup white wine
2 (15.5 Oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
2 Tablespoons curry powder
1/2-teaspoon EACH cumin, and cayenne
1 cup Nancy’s non fat yogurt
1/4-cup lime juice
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Sliced cucumber and yogurt for serving

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat, when sizzling.
2.   Add onion and sauté for 4 minutes
3.   Add garlic, curry powder, and cumin, and cayenne, sauté 1 minute.
4.   Add 1/4-cup white wine, scraping up browned bits with a wooden spoon.
5.   Transfer mixture to a blender; add chickpeas, yogurt, lime juice and 2 tablespoon olive oil.
6.   Season with salt and pepper.
7.   Serve with a dollop of yogurt and sliced cucumbers.
