CUCUMBER SALAD ENJOY DAN:


                             CUCUMBER SALAD by CHEF DAN:

Serves 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 cucumber, thinly sliced

1 red onion, thinly sliced

1-cup water

1/2-rice wine vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1/4-teaspoon kosher salt

1/2-teaspoon dried dill weed

Pinch of red pepper flakes

Garnish with black toasted sesame seeds

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.   Combine cucumber and red onion in a salad bowl.

2.   In another bowl stir in water, vinegar, sugar, salt, dill weed and red pepper flakes.

3.   Garnish with sesame seeds

4.   Pour over vegetables, and chill for 1 hour.

5.   Serve at room temperature.
