WE HAVE CANNED BEANS IN THE SOUP KITCHEN SO BEANS AND POTATOES ENJOY DAN:

               GREEN BEAN AND POTATO SOUP by CHEF DAN:
Serves 20-30

INGREDIENTS:
30 cups chicken broth
2 (50 Oz) cans green beans
3 tablespoons baking soda
7 potatoes, diced
4 onions, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound bacon
3 tablespoons butter
10 cups milk
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4-cup curry powder
2 teaspoons dried tarragon

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a stock-pot add the butter over medium-heat.
2.   Cook the bacon, onion, and garlic, sauté for 5 minutes.
3.   Add chicken broth, and all other ingredients.
4.   Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. bring to a boil.
6.   Reduce heat to low and simmer until hot and the flavors have melted.
