PORK WITH NOODLE SALAD WHAT COULD BE BETTER ENJOY DAN:


SESAME CRUSTED PORK TENDERLOIN WITH NOODLE SALAD by CHEF DAN:

Serves 4 Flameware casserole dish from Robbie@cookonClay.com

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 pork tenderloin (1-1/2- pounds)

1/4-cup hoisin sauce

1/2-cup soy sauce

1 tablespoons sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1-inch fresh ginger, minced

1/3-cup sesame seeds

 

DIRECTIONS:    (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES)

1.     Mix all the ingredients together, except the sesame seeds.

2.     Marinate pork for up to 4 hours or in the refrigerator overnight.

3.     Pour sesame seeds on a dish and roll the tenderloin in the seeds.

4.     In a buttered Flameware baking dish add the sesame pork.

5.     Place in pre-heated oven and cook for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature 150-155.

6.     Let meat rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

 

      NOODLE SALAD:

2 Tablespoons sesame oil

1/4-cup soy sauce

2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoon brown sugar

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

1 (14 Oz) package rice noodles, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes.

1 cup snap peas

1 carrot, peeled julienned

3 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Combine first 5 ingredients together in a bowl, stir to combine.

Drain noodles and mound on a plate, and distributed carrots, and snow peas.

Pour soy sauce mixture over the top and toss to combine, add pork slices.

Top with toasted sesame seeds and cilantro.
