NEPHEW GETTING MARRIED SO LEMON AND TEQUILA ENJOY DAN:


MEYER LEMON TEQUILA FOR KAREN AND RANDY’S WEDDING

                                                                              BY CHEF DAN:

Serves 8

 

8 Meyers lemons zest

1 bottle of 100 percent blue agave Blanco tequila

3/4-cup triple sec

 

PREPARATION:

 

1.  Using vegetables peeler  peel the rind off the Meyer lemons.

2.  Try not to get the pith (white part).

3.  Place in the zest in a mason jar and pour in triple sec and fill with tequila.

4.  Put in the fridge and give it a shake every time you open the refrigerator.

5.  After 4 days strain the zest out and drink-up.
