ROLLED OATS WITH BERRIES WHAT COULD BE BETTER ENJOY DAN:

                           BLACK BERRY CRUMBLE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 6

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups fresh blackberries, or blueberries
1/3-cup granulated sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
1/2-cup roiled oats
1/2-cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4=cup packed brown sugar
1/4-teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2cup pecans, chopped

DIRECTIONS:                             (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)

1.     Coat an 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
2.     Combine blueberries, 1/3-cup sugar, lime juice, cornstarch, cinnamon,
3.     Pour into baking dish, set aside.
4.     Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, pecans, salt and vanilla.
5.     Mix in butter and work mixture through fingers until it forms coarse crumbs ranging in size from peas to golf balls.
6.     In pre-heated oven, spread mixture on an even layer on a baking sheet, and cover with parchment paper.
7.     Bake for 12 minutes.
8.     In the baking dish crumble the partially baked topping over the fruit and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
9.     Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until it is bubbling and the top is nice and brown.
