GARLIC AND MORE GARLIC ENJOY DAN:

CHICKEN IN THE CROCK-POT WITH 20-40 CLOVES OF GARLIC by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4-6

INGRESIENTS;

20-40 cloves of garlic, peeled but intact
1 whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 onion, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon each thyme, rosemary, pepper, and oregano
1/2-teaspoon red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS:

1.     In a slow cooker.
2.     Place onions slices on the bottom of the stoneware insert.
3.     In a mixing bowl toss chicken parts with olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, paprika, thyme, rosemary, oregano, and all the garlic cloves.
4.     Pour into slow cooker, on top of the onions.
5.     Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours.
6.     On low for 6-8 hours.
7.     Transfer to a platter and spoon any accumulated juices over the chicken.
