SUSHI
BURGER by CHEF DAN:
Makes
1 burger
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sticky rice
1 cup sticky rice
1/2-avocado,
sliced
1
tablespoon spicy mayo
1
teaspoon sriracha
Black
sesame seeds
Pickled
ginger, sliced,
Sashimi,
about 5 slices
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Cook
rice per package directions.
2.
Let
cool completely.
3.
Place
1/3-cup of rice in the bottom of a 5- inch stainless-steel ring.
4.
Press
down.
5.
Let
sit for 5 minutes.
6.
Place
1/3-cup of rice into another ring, and press down.
7.
Let
sit 5 minutes.
8.
Roll
remaining rice into ball shaped and place in the center of another ring
9.
Press
the edges down to create a top “bun”.
10.
Let
sit 5 minutes.
11.
Mix
mayo with sriracha, set aside.
12.
On
a plate remove ring.
13.
Add
sashimi, avocado, ginger, and spicy mayo.
14.
Remove
top “bun” from pan and place on top of the fillings.
15.
Sprinkle
with black sesame seeds.
