CRANBERRY APPLE CRISP by CHEF DAN:
Serves
6-8
INGREDIENTS:
3-cups
chopped peeled tart apples (such as Gala or Braeburn)
2-cups
fresh or frozen cranberries
1-cup
sugar
3-tablespoons
all-purpose flour
TOPPINGS:
1-1/2-cups
quick cooking oats
1/2-cup
all-purpose flour
1-teaspoon
vanilla extract
1/2-cup
brown sugar
1/2-cup
melted butter
1/4-cup
pine nuts
DIRECTIONS:
(PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 F)
1.
Combine
apples & next 3 ingredients.
2.
Pour
into a prepared baking dish.
3.
In
a bowl, mix toppings ingredients until crumbly.
4.
Sprinkle
over apple mixture.
5.
Bake
for 55-60 minutes or until fruit id tender.
