PORTABELLA STEMS RECIPE by CHEF DAN:

INGREDIENTS
4
stems from portabella mushroom
2
teaspoons butter
2
garlic cloves, minced
1/2-
teaspoon EACH Italian seasoning and dried basil
1/2-cup
red wine
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Heat
the butter in a skillet over medium-heat and when sizzling.
2.
Add
mushroom stems and garlic and sauté for about 7 minutes.
3.
Stir
in Italian seasoning and basil.
4.
Reduce
heat to low, pour wine into the skillet.
5.
Simmer
until most of the wine has evaporated.
6.
In
a plate place 2 stems standing up and pour sauce in the skillet over the top.
