FRIED TOFU WITH DAN'S SOY SESAME SAUCE ENJOY DAN:

FRIED TOFU WITH DAN'S SOY SESAME SAUCE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 3-4

FRIED TOFU         
1 block (12 Oz) extra firm tofu
1/2-cup cornstarch
1/4-EACH white pepper and Tandoori masala
1 egg
 1/2-cup Panko
Olive oil, as much as you like

DAN’S SOY SESAME DIPPING SAUCE:
1/2-cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4-cup rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon mirin
2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 drops chili oil
1-teaspoon brown sugar
1/4-teaspoon fish sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Combine all sauce ingredients in a Mason jar with a lid, shake like the devil until emulsified.
2.   Mix cornstarch, white pepper, and masala in to a bowl, set aside.
3.   Whisk egg into another b owl.
4.   Add Panko into the third bowl.
5.   Slice tofu into 16 cubes (slice half horizontally first, then cut into cubes).
6.   Coat each cube into the cornstarch, then egg, then Panko.
7.   In a skillet add oil over medium-high heat when sizzling.
8.   Place all the tofu cubes into the skillet, when one side is brown, flip over until all sides are brown.
9.   Remove from skillet.
10.                Place on a platter and place dipping sauce on the side.
