EASY AND WONDERFUL SPAGHETTI SQUASH ENJOY DAN:

                SPAGHETTI SQUASH WITH SAUCE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:

1 spaghetti squash
1 jar (SAFEWAY SELECT) tomato-basil pasta sauce
3 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:                           (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 375-DEGREES)

1.    With a long skewer, poke holes all around the squash and place on a shallow pan.
2.    In pre-heated oven bake squash, for about 1 hour, turning once.
3.    Slice in half-lengthwise.
4.    Remove seeds and fibrous strings and discard.
5.    Drag a fork across the squash to scrape out all the spaghetti flesh, down to the skin.
6.    Serve with heated spaghetti sauce.
7.    Top with parmesan cheese.
