INSTANT POT HAM AND BEAN SOUP by

INGREDIENTS:
1-ham
bone
1-1/2-cup
diced cooked ham
1-tablespoon
olive oil
1-onion,
diced
3-garlic
cloves, mince
7-cups
bone stock
2-teaspoons
EACH Worcestershire sauce & turmeric
2-celery
stakes diced
2-carrots,
diced
1-pound
dried beans, soaked in water for 2 hours
Bay
leave
1/2-teaspoon
dried oregano
1/2-teaspoon
EACH fresh thyme & fresh rosemary bounded
1/2-teaspoon
EACH cumin, salt & pepper
1-cup
Napa cabbage
Fresh
snipped chives for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Turn
the Instant Pot to SAUTE & add oil & when IT says hot.
2.
Add
onions & garlic and sauté for 3 minutes.
3.
Add
ham bone, dices ham, stock and next 12 ingredients.
4.
Stir
the mixture.
5.
Press
SAUTE & cancel.
6.
Close
the lid and close pressure vent value.
7.
Press
PRESSURE COOK & cook on high for 60 minutes.
8.
When
cooking time is complete press CANCEL.
9.
Remove
the ham bone & pull off any ham meat and cut into small pieces.

Add
sliced ham back into pot.

If
you want thicker soup mash some of, he beans in the soup.

Give
the soup a good stir and season with salt & pepper.

Garnish
with fresh chives.
