THAI----- BBQ YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHATS NEXT. ENJOY DAN:

THAI STEAK ON THE BARBEQUE by CHEF DAN


Serves 4



INGREDIENTS:



1-1/2-pounds sirloin, flank or skirt steak

1 tablespoon Red Curry paste

1/2- cup brown sugar

1/2-cup soy sauce

2 tablespoon fresh ginger grated

2 garlic cloves, minced



DIRECTIONS:



1. In a sauce pan combine, Red Curry paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.

2. Bring to a boil over medium-heat.

3. Mix until curry paste is completely dissolved.

4. Cool

5. In a gallon zip-lock bag add steak and cooled marinate.

6. Marinate 1-2 hours, turning every 1/2- hour.

7. Remove steak from marinate.

8. On the BBQ. Cook steak the way you like it.

9. In a sauce pan add the marinate and bring to a boil and simmer about 5 minutes.

10. Serve marinate on the side and use as a dipping sauce.
