BUTTERNUT
SQUASH WITH APPLES AND CRANBERRY BAKE by CHEF DAN:

INGREDIENTS:
1
butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
3
tart cooking apples (Granny Smith) peeled and cut into 1/2-pices
1/2-cup
fresh cranberries
1/2-cup
brown sugar
1/4-cup
butter
1
tablespoon all-purpose flour
1
teaspoon sea salt
3
teaspoons cinnamon
1
teaspoon nutmeg
3
tablespoon fresh sage, torn
DIRECTIONS: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)
1.
Lightly
spray the sides with Pam on a 7-X-11baking dish.
2.
In
a bowl mix together brown sugar, flour, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3.
Pour
a layer of the cut butternut squash on the bottom of the baking dish.
4.
Placer
apples on top and sprinkle with cranberries.
5.
Sprinkle
everything with brown sugar flour mixture.
6.
Dot
with butter.
7.
Bake
for 50-60 minutes until cooked through and lightly browned.
top with fresh sage.
