BAKED ACORN SQUASH WITH APPLES ENJOY DAN:

                 BAKED ACORN SQUASH AND APPLES by CHEF DAN:
Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:
1 acorn squash
1/4-cup water
2 apples, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4-cup honey
1 teaspoon EACH cinnamon, and ground ginger

DIRECTIONS:  (PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 F)
1.   Cut the acorn squash and scoop out the seeds and stings.
2.   Put water in a baking pan; place the halves face down.
3.   Bake for 1/2-hour.
4.   Then take out and put the sliced apples in the middle.
5.   Drizzle with butter, and honey, sprinkle with cinnamon and ginger.
6.   Bake for 35-40 minutes or until apples are soft and browning.
7.   Put your acorn squash on individual plates.
8.   If any apples and honey has falling off; place on top of squash.
