COOKING FOR THE FOOD BANK AND ONLY 200 MEAT BALLS ENJOY DAN:


ITALIAN MEAT BALLS FOR THE FOOD BANK FUND DRIVE by CHEF DAN:
Makes 200 golf size meat balls

INGREDIENTS:
20 pounds ground beef
5 cups Parmesan cheese
20 eggs, lightly beaten
5 cups milk
6 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
3 cups Italian seasoning
1/4-cup garlic powder
9 packages dry onion soup mix
3 tablespoons salt

DIRECTIONS:        (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES)
1.   Mix all ingredients in a large bowl by hand.
2.   Using your bare hands for best results.
3.   Roll meatballs to about the size of golf balls, about 1-1/2-inches.
4.   If too dry use little milk to make them hold together.
5.   Let stand 20-30 minutes.
6.   Set meatballs on a sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
