CHUCK WAGON BEEF IN THE CROCK POT MY WAY ENJOY DAN:

            CHUCK WAGON BEEF IN THE CROCK POT MY WAY by CHEF DAN:
Serves 6-8

INGREDIENTS:
1-3-pound chuck roast
1-1/2-cups ketchup
1/4-cup brown sugar
1/4-cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon EACH liquid smoke, smoked paprika and turmeric
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1/2-teaspon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a mixing bowl combine ketchup and next 7 ingredients.
2.   Stir in salt, pepper and garlic powder.
3.   Place the roast in the crock pot.
4.   Pour ketchup mixture over the roast.
5.   Cover and cook 8-10 hours.
6.   Remove roast from the crock pot.
7.   Shred the meat with a fork, and return to the crock pot.
8.   Stir to mix thoroughly before serving.
