FRIED TOFU WITH PEANUT SAUCE ENJOY DAN:

                FRIED TOFU WITH PEANUT SAUCE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4-6

TOFU:
1 (16 Oz) package firm tofu
1 tablespoon EACH soy sauce and oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

PEANUT SAUCE:
3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons EACH soy sauce and brown sugar
1 teaspoon EACH ginger powder, paprika, cumin, and cayenne
2-4 tablespoons warm water

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Place tofu in a strainer and wrap in paper towels; then set a heavy can on top and let drain for 20 minutes.
2.   Slice tofu in 1/2-inch slabs; then add tofu slabs and marinate 1 hour.
3.   Heat the oil in a cast-iron pan over medium-heat and when sizzling.
4.   Add tofu, fry 5 minutes on each side until brown and crispy.
5.   Then add minute sauce to each slab.
