CHAI SPICED GRANOLA ENJOY DAN:

                                  CHAI SPICED GRANOLA by CHEF DAN:
Yields 7 cups:

CHAI SPICED GRANOLA INGREDIENTS:
1/2-cup agave
2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2-teaspoon EACH vanilla extract and almond extract
4 cups rolled oats
1 cup EACH  slivered almond , pecans, and walnuts
1/4-cup EACH chai seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flax seeds
1 cup shredded coconut

CHAI SPICE MIX INGREDIENTS:
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon EACH ground cardamom, ground ginger, and tandoori masala
1/4- teaspoon EACH allspice
Black pepper, ground loves and kosher salt

DIRECTIONS: (PE-HEAT OVEN TO 300 F)
1.   Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2.   In a mixing bowl, whisk together agave, sesame oil, vanilla & almond extracts until combined.
3.   Set aside.
4.   In a mixing bowl, toss oats, and next 7 ingredients plus the chai spice mix.
5.   Mix until evenly combined.
6.   Add in the agave mixture and toss until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
7.   Spread mixture out on a prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
8.   Bake for 20 minutes, removing sheet from the oven to give the granola a stir.
9.   Return sheet to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes or until the nuts are nice and toasted.
10.                Remove sheet from the oven and lace on a wire rack.
11.                 Store in a sealed container for 3 weeks.
