SEARED AHI TUNA WITH WASABI POWDER ENJOY DAN:

          SEARED AHI TUNA STEAKS WITH WASABI POWDER by CHEF DAN:
Serves 2

INGREDIENTS:
2 (5 Oz) ahi tuna steaks
1 teaspoon sea salt or to taste
1-teaspoon butter
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
1/2-cup Greek yogurt
1/2- teaspoon wasabi powder
2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar


DIRECTIONS:
1.   Whisk together wasabi powder, vinegar, and yogurt.
2.   Set aside.
3.   Season the tuna steaks with sea salt and a splash of olive oil.
4.   Roll the tuna in roasted sesame seeds.
5.   In a skillet melt the butter with the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat when sizzling.
6.   Gently place the seasoned tuna and cook until desired doneness.
7.   1-minute to 1-1/2-on each side.
8.   Tuna should be real red in the middle.
9.   Let sit for 2 minutes.
10.                Slice about 1/8-inch thick.
11.                Drizzle over tuna and add as a dipping sauce on the side.
