WE HAVE GREEN BEANS AND MUSHROOMS SO THIS IS WHAT IS FOR DINNER TONIGHT. ENJOY DAN:

    FRESH GREEN BEANS AND MUSHROOM PARMESAN by CHEF DAN:
Serves 2-4

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/2- Tender French beans, trimmed and left whole
Water to cover, about 3-4 cups
2 cups baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
1/2- onion, chopped
1 (8oz) can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
1/4- teaspoon each sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4-cup parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:

1.    Combine green beans and water in a pot.
2.    Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 8 minutes.
3.    Drain, and plunge into ice to stop the cooking process.
4.    Drain and set aside.
5.    Combine the mushrooms, onion, water chestnuts, salt, pepper, basil, and Italian seasoning and oil in non-stick skillet over medium-heat.
6.    Sauté until the onion is tender about 5 minutes.
7.    Stir in green beans and cook until thoroughly heated, about 2 minutes.
8.    Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and ENJOY DAN:             hallelujah
