DIET WEEK COMMING UP SALADS, SALADS, SALADS. ENJOY DAN:

GREEN SALAD WITH BASIL by CHEF DAN:


Serves 4



INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon lime juice or lemon juice

1 packet splenda

Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 romaine heart, cut into bite size pieces

1 hand-full basil leaves



DIRECTIONS:



1. In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice and sugar.

2. Season generously with salt and pepper.

3. Whisk in oil until incorporated.

4. Add lettuce and basil leaves.

5. Toss to coat with dressing.
